Hi, I'm Alexis,
I teach in Fraserburgh (north of Aberdeen) & I have 4 classes a week with slightly over 200 attendees who come & go, something I feel sets me aside from the rest is that I have lots of children (say 16/17 & as young as 6!) in total I must have around 30 kids!! So much in fact we did a country classic line dance team at a world dance masters line competition & some now do pro-am with me competitively which included dances like east coast swing & two/step.
I only started classes last April & took off like a shot. Very lucky indeed. I still complete myself but I manage to juggle it all. I was even nominated for a crystal boot award this past few months which was a great honour for someone so new. 85% off all my dancers were complete absolute beginners so they have came on leaps & bounds.
I’ve started some social events that are sold out every time, so things have really been going really well & the ladies in the community are loving it. I can’t even go to the hairdressers now without somebody talking about my classes I feel very honoured!
