BILLY JAY had played Keyboard / Guitar and Vocals around the social club circuit in many live bands doing Clubs and Functions since the 1980s.
In the 90s He formed a Country music duo called STATELINE with his brother Robert and they currently play in the Country music / Line dance circuit in the Glasgow and Ayrshire area.
Due to Roberts recent work commitments Billy now performs solo as BILLY JAY on some occasions and stays up to date with the latest music for the dancers and listeners alike.
On stage BILLY Sings and plays Lead Guitar as well as Keyboard along with a backing track.
Most of the musical backing and computer work is produced by STATELINE in their home studio. BILLY records the musical parts i.e. piano, strings, guitar etc and ROBERT attends to bass guitar and drums. A lot of their studio work can also be heard as backing tracks used by some of the top acts in both the Country Music and Social Club circuits.
